Sally Kim, is a student at Dartmouth College majoring in Biology and double minoring in Neuroscience and Chinese.
Her SAT scores were very impressive, as were her Subject Tests (she chose Math II and Biology). On the Dartmouth campus she is involved with the International Student Association, Active Minds, as well as Dartmouth School Yearbook Club. After Sally Kim graduates, she would like to go to graduate school for Genetics Research.

Mark has been with PREPSKILLS® since 2005. As an Ontario certified teacher, Mark holds a B.A. from Laurentian University, an M.A. from the University of Toronto and a B.Ed. from Brock University. He is currently completing a Ph.D. at York University. Mark has an extensive and diverse teaching background. He served as a visiting English language lecturer at Konkuk University in South Korea. He has worked in adult education and has offered undergraduate tutorials, as well as lectured at the university level. He continues to teach in the primary, junior and intermediate divisions with the Peel District School Board.
Justin was raised in Mississauga, ON. He has had a passion for teaching youth and volunteering since he was in high school. This lead him to graduate from York University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and Geography. He also completed York's concurrent teaching program, achieving a Bachelor of Education. Justin is now an Ontario Certified Teacher, and has helped many students improve their academic habits, and test scores.
Rohan holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education and Health from the University of Toronto. Rohan has years of experience as an elementary and high school teacher in Windsor, Ontario. He is now completing a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Toronto, while also teaching the PREPSKILLS® SAT, SSAT and PREPEssentials™ programs.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Tony became certified as a Kinesiologist with the Ontario Kinesiology Association. Tony worked as a Kinesiologist in Toronto for four years prior to returning to school at Nipissing University where he successfully completed the Bachelor of Education program. Since that time Tony has been working for the York Region District School Board, and currently he is employed as a Science Teacher at Aurora High School.
Prior to graduating magna cum laude from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Alastair was a member of the Canadian Forces Primary Reserve, where he instructed basic and advanced military policing courses. Alastair then moved to Toronto to continue his education at Osgoode Hall Law School and he has been teaching PREPSKILLS® SAT preparation courses since 2006. “It is always exciting when I hear back from former students with the reply email address belonging to a school that they wanted to get into.”

Arran graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, followed by a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. After graduation, Arran travelled and worked as a teacher in the United Kingdom, before returning to Canada to continue her career in education and training. Currently Arran works as an Academic Advisor, where she provides guidance and support to university students. She is also working towards her Master of Education degree at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She has been working with PREPSKILLS since 2007. The best part of teaching the PrepSkills program is the change you see in students over the course of the sessions. The amount of improvement in their knowledge, skills and confidence is amazing, and a great thing to be a part of!
Born in California, and raised in south Florida, Taylor has attended both high school and university in the United States. Having received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University (2006), Taylor moved to Toronto in 2007 to complete his M.A. in Sociology at the University of Toronto.

Originally from West Toronto, Steven Wang has completed his undergrad at University of Pennsylvania with a major in Biochemistry and Biology. He is beginning his Ph.D in Molecular Biology at the John Hopkins School of Medicine. Steven has also successfully written the SAT – scoring 780 in Math, 730 in Reading Comprehension and 700 in the Verbal component. As well as, three subject tests- Biology 800, Math 2- 800 and Chemistry 750. Steven’s knowledge, experience and dedication make him both an effective and inspirational teacher.

Josipa is a post-doctoral fellow at the University College London in Great Britain. She has studied at British and Canadian universities and has completed degrees in political science, journalism, political theory, sociology of scientific knowledge, and the history and philosophy of mathematics. Josipa has taught political theory, philosophy of science, history of science and philosophy of language at the University of Edinburgh and University College London.
Ryan M. has been with Prepskills 2008. He attended Acadia University where he completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology and was captain of the Men's Varsity Basketball Team. He then completed his Bachelor of Education (Junior/Intermediate) at Lakehead University in 2006. After Univeristy he accepted a professional basketball contract in England where he also taught high school Science, History and Physical Education for 3 years while playing. Ryan is now a qualified Junior/Intermediate/Senior Science and Physical Educator.
Lesley has a Bachelor’s degree from Ryerson University School of Business and graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Education in 1991, specializing in Junior/Intermediate education. Over the years, Lesley has worked for the Halton District School Board and has been involved in adult education through corporate training and teaching opportunities. Lesley has been working with Prepskills since 2009 and thrives on watching her students succeed through the Prepskills process.
Ryan grew up in smalltown Ontario and has used teaching to travel the world. Upon completing his honors bachelor degree, he traveled to South Korea to teach English as a Second Language. Following teacher's college, Ryan spent two years living and teaching in Scotland before returning to Canada to accept a position with the York Region District School Board.
Robert C. has a (honours) Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from York University. He has 11 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, and he has taught in all three divisions. He is currently an Intermediate Physical education teacher in the elementary panel. Robert has also taught at numerous high schools throughout varied summer sessions (including grades 9 and 10). Robert has been affiliated with PREPSKILLS for multiple years (since its inception!). He takes a humanistic approach to teaching and he has been especially successful at establishing healthy and academically productive rapports with students and their parents. Robert believes that positive teacher-student relations are the key to academic success.

Karen has been teaching with PREPSKILLS® since 2004. She holds an Honours degree in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph and a teaching degree from the University of Western Ontario. Karen has worked as an outdoor educator for four years, and has focused her energy on teaching English as a Second Language. In addition to having taught in Australia for one year, Karen enriches her teaching abilities by spending her holiday time travelling around the world.

Fernanda graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts (Specialized Honours in Geography) in 2007. She then pursue a teaching career and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelors of Education in 2009. Fernada completed an Additional Qualification in Special Education at Brock University in order to obtained a better understanding of the different learning exceptionalities in the classroom. Fernanda currently teach for the Peel District School Board.

Suzanne has a Master of Science in chemistry from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education from York university and an Honour’s Bachelor of Science degree from Ryerson university. Before becoming a qualified teacher, Suzanne taught at the University of Toronto, and at Higher College of Technology in the Sultanate of Oman. She also worked in research, at the Ontario Science Centre and as a water treatment specialist for the United Nations in Sierra Leone. After graduating teacher’s college, she immediately began work as a chemistry and science teacher at the University of Toronto Schools. She also currently reviews and advises for Nelson textbooks. Suzanne’s passion for education continues to inspire and motive our students here at Prepskills.
