An online test developed exclusively by PREPSKILLS® – The diagnostic test is organized for Middle and Upper level students so that it parallels the sections and format of the official SSAT*, including time limits. The main purpose of the diagnostic test is to help the teacher and student discover weaknesses and strengths in terms of strategy, content, skills and time management. Parents are provided with detailed progress reports. Writing samples will be assessed and feedback will be provided.
MIDDLE LEVEL
The PREPSKILLS® full-length, Middle-level Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) has been designed to test those students currently in grades five to seven.
PREPSKILLS® has developed its online Middle-Level SSAT CompuTest as a means of analyzing student skill levels in verbal reasoning, reading comprehension and quantitative/mathematical analysis (including arithmetic, geometry and basic algebra). The PREPSKILLS® CompuTest includes a writing section that assesses students on their ability to produce a written composition within a set period of time. The test takes just over 2 hours to complete.
UPPER LEVEL
The PREPSKILLS® full-length, Upper-level Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) has been designed to test those students currently in grades eight to eleven.
PREPSKILLS® has developed its online Upper-level SSAT CompuTest as a means of analyzing student skill levels in verbal reasoning, reading comprehension and advanced quantitative/mathematical analysis (including arithmetic, upper-level geometry and upper-level algebra). The PREPSKILLS® CompuTest includes a writing section that assesses students on their ability to produce a written composition within a set period of time. The test takes just over 2 hours to complete.
The PREPSKILLS® SSAT CompuTest mimics the actual SSAT experience. Each CompuTest must be completed within an allotted period of time. Students are timed on a per-section basis.
Each student receives a detailed score breakdown. Thus, the SSAT CompuTest allows parents and students to identify strengths and weaknesses in their SSAT preparations.
