Anita Weiss Anita Weiss is the Assistant Director of Recruitment for Pre-College Programs at Columbia University. In her capacity as assistant director, she meets with students, parents, teachers, and guidance counselors nationally and globally to introduce students to Columbia’s Immersion and College Edge programs and the benefits of pre-college programs generally. She has also served as an admissions officer for Columbia’s Pre-college Programs and as a mentor for prior Immersion students participating in Columbia’s Ambassadorship. Michelle Guaman Michelle Guaman is a Senior Admissions Specialist for the Pre-College Programs at Columbia University. As an Admissions Specialist she oversees the application process across our programs to ensure students experience a streamlined interface from material submission to course registration. In addition to maintaining backend operations, she is also a Lead Mentor in our Columbia Ambassadorship and Advisor to our Youth in STEM cohort. Michelle strives to continuously improve our student's experience and to foster the growth of our Pre-College community even post participation.
