Parents: Need help preparing for an interview with a private school?
“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy.” — Norman Vincent Peale
This quote really sets the stage for the question we posed to some of the private, preparatory and boarding schools that are attending our Virtual PrepConnect Event #onlineevent Sept 19. These schools meet with families and answer questions throughout the year, we thought we would provide some of the tips they shared with us to help you in not only choosing the best fit school for your child, but also to prepare for the upcoming Virtual PrepConnect event where you can meet/network with admission representatives directly.
At Prepskills parents often approach us for help when exploring their options for private schools, preparatory schools and boarding schools both in Canada and the US. We noticed that parents are very interested in learning the details about the process for interviews with private schools, how to prepare, how to act during the interview and what questions they should anticipate. In fact this is one of the reasons we’ll be diving deeper into this topic (and many others) on September 19 during the panel sessions which will involve some private schools, educational experts, students and parent ambassadors. The Sept 19 online panel is titled: Top 10 Interview Questions for Students & Parents ~ The Insider Scoop
